How To: Hide Root in Android Nougat

You wouldn't be here if you don't know what root in Android is. So that saves me from explaining what rooting is and it uses. But for those who are not aware, Root is something that gives wings to your device.

Some apps don't work if the device is rooted. Mostly Banking and other Financial apps including some Wallet apps. This is because the apps contains sensitive information of the user and other apps with root access may/can have access to it. Rooted devices will have security and privacy concerns no matter what you so to secure it. There used to some great workarounds to bypass this problem. Like if you were a pro-user with Xposed / Magsik installed, you could install a module called RootCloak. For other users Hide My Root and SuHide were good options.  But most of them seems not to work now as Android has gotten better with new updates and APIs. Google has given major updates to its SafetyNet API and is mandatory for every developer to use it in apps. Many apps now uses this API to detect rooted or modified systems.
The one that did the job even on my Android 7.1.2 Nougat is Hide Rooting Lite. Its a small app which is just 2 MB in size and does the job pretty well. For me it worked on both 7.1.1 and 7.1.2 android.

How to use:
There will be a big power button in the opening window. Press it and a it turns blue. That's it and  you are good to go. Minimize  Hide Rooting Lite and your banking apps will work on your device from now.
